Why did you pursue a career in fitness? I love moving my body and am passionate about healthy living. When I invest in myself, I have more energy, feel lighter, and more vibrant. I wanted to share my knowledge with others so that they can experience the same, and improve their overall health and well-being. I love teaching, inspiring, and challenging people to do their best, and supporting them on their road to success!
Why rowing? It has so many physical benefits, including being low impact and non-weight bearing. Since having knee surgery in 2010, high impact options don’t feel great on my body. I hadn't found a low impact option that I loved until rowing. It's a great full body workout and it's FUN!
Favorite thing about Seattle? I love having the mountains and ocean so close. For me, Seattle has the perks of the big city, but still a "small town feel", unlike other large cities. I also have family here, which is awesome!
What is one fun fact about you no one knows? I am a kids yoga teacher - @happyherokidsyoga. I also have a 5 year old golden retriever named Sherman.
